Sexual abuse often occurs after an abuser has had an opportunity to build a relationship with a child and his or her family.  This is accomplished by treating the child to “special” time, attention and/or gifts. Pay close attention to your child’s behavior and the behavior of those who spend time with your child. TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS.
